Should the Duke Lacrosse players be compensated by the state?

In my humble opinion, yes. Of course they should be compensated and it's a shame it has to be by the state because this was one man's witch hunt. He will also be sued and if he has anything those guys will get it.

I don't know what Nifong's net worth is, but he's not going to have a very pleasant life from now on. Those players will be getting a check from him till they day he dies So, yeah. They were wrongly prosecuted, and deserve anything they can get By the way, this opinion is submitted by a guy who doesn't believe in lawsuits as a matter of general practice.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
