No win situation Either the feds bail out the pensions or they put money in the Welfare and Unemployment system to pay for these same people when they don't have a job any longer. It's awful either way you look at it. The businesses the blew these funds are the ones that should be forced to pay, but if you go after them, they move their office to India.

For some reason, like with BP, Obama is coddling businesses and screw the workers.

They already did that 70+ years ago. Look what happened. It was called "social security" and was our government shouldering a debt load it is decreasingly able to carry.

I don't see our government being able to do that twice. Unfortunately, I do see our government thinking they can and trying.

3 Nay. Screw these people who have worked hard all their lives - let them go on welfare! That money has to go into the pockets of the rich Republicans that got fat from business dealings with the previous govenment!

How dare you suggest they go without big houses, cars, planes and boats so that the working guy can eat and have a roof over their heads. The horror! .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
