Should you give something to someone who threatens you for it?

Depends on what the perspective is! Now that you have mentioned what the issue is, the best possible outcome would be to reason it out with them and also with yourself. If- what you posses- is actually worthless to you, then why posses it in the first place?

If trouble has to be avoided, at least one of the concerned party's ego needs to be lowered. And lowering ego for people who don't deserve an ounce of respect is a pretty intelligent approach to avoiding any unpleasant scenario. Yes!

Self respect is important but living a peaceful life free of trouble is even more important. Talk it out with them. The statement what you have given here, mention the same to them.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
