Yes , but up to a point, if that customer is being rude, disruptive, using foul language you have the right to refuse service and to ask them to leave. The customer is not "always right" And employees do not have to put up with their BS.
I would say, yes. It never hurts to be friendly even when you don't feel good about someone. If we work for someone, they have a right to expect us to look out for their interest.
People don't like to do business with companies who hire people who are rude to customers.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
