Sigh... computer issue... I have a custom built PC on a gigabyte MB model GA-8IHXP I850E. Tried booting last night, and this morning, and I don't even get a Bios screen. All I get is a flashing power light and beeps... 2 - 8 - 2 - 1.

Tried looking this up at the gigabyte site, and couldn't find anything. Can anyone assist me in determining the problem and coming up with a solution? 4 OK! If your saying as it boots you have tried F2 F8 and the F12 Leys and nothing happens? And, you only hear the noise.......Then I suspect you have had a hard drive failure.

The only fix for this is a brand new hard drive...and then installing the system and programs...Sorry!Blessings.....Annlee .

6 if she isn't even getting the BIOS then it is not a HD problem. Could be power supply. Could be loose BIOS chip.

If so.......place System Unit disc in. Close bay........RestartIf it restarts.......THE DISC SHOULD GIVE YOU REPAIR OPTION.........repair the systemIf that fails.It is failing because the HARD DRIVE IS kAPUT! Gone...fried...finished!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
