Signing an arrest warrant as a citizen...what should I take into consideration?

The only time a private citizen would sign an arrest warrant is in the case of a citizen's arrest, which is when you witness a violent crime and hold the criminal there until the police arrive. If you want to have charges pressed for something else, you do not need to sign an arrest warrant. But in any case, if you sign an arrest warrant, you are certifying that the arrest is legal.

If it isn't, you are liable for damages.

Be very aware that the normal response - in fact the most legally effective response is for them to counter charge you and they have very legal right to do so. You will face defending yourself against a false accusation in court. The pressure of this alone often results in the person charging the other - you I this case dropping their case.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
