Silent authentication with Tomcat and Active Directory [closed]?

I don’t believe Tomcat natively supports integrated authentication, however it does support custom authentication modules. Give these URL's a try: appliedcrypto.com/files/tomcat_spnego.pdf jcifs.samba.org/src/docs/ntlmhttpauth.html.

Tomcat doesn't support NTLM authentication, but there are other Java security libraries that do, such as Spring Security. Using SS, we have Tomcat and JBoss applications which silently authenticate against an MS Active Directory in both IE and FF browsers. Here's a URL that might be helpful: blog.mediasoft.be/ntlm-with-spring-secur....

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
