Yes you do need it and personally I would recommend Sophos... which has a free version for Mac Home Users.

About a two months ago I tried ClamXav, only to find out it slowed my computer down when running scans. It is free, but I wanted something a bit higher quality. The sad part is after uninstalling it I never went looking for a better option until recently, when the above mentioned malware almost got me.

After doing some research for the best Mac antivirus, I found good info on Intego's VirusBarrier X6 and Sophos Anti-virus. Currently I'm using Intego. Once my free trial runs out, I won't mind paying for the antivirus software if I decide it's worth the money; I would rather pay money for something that works very well and is unnoticeable when running scans than use a free product that's half as beneficial.

I also like that Intego focuses solely on security for the Apple Macintosh. But I'll keep your suggestion in mind just in case something goes awry. Thanks!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
