Since Bush tax cuts haven't motivated the rich to do much to create new jobs over the last 2 years,?

I know for a fact it will create at least one. The owners of the company I work for will hire an assistant for me as soon as the continuation of the tax cut is passed. Smoke on that.

Hard to find anyone who, after 10 years of these tax levels, believes that extending the time two more years will create more jobs, in and of itself. The rich are stupid and invest their bounty stupidly. On the other hand, however, the economy is growing, and showing signs of real strength.

AND government is shrinking. True, it's your local, county and state governments that have shrunk the most and will continue to get smaller, but that was the PNAC goal from the start--strangle government until it dies. Now, to get an extension of unemployment benefits, AND lots of incentives for small business, one price was to give republicans this extension.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
