I don't understand why she's doing it but she won't stop" You need to house break her, like you'd do with a puppy. It's really simple: - If you don't catch her in the act you shut up and clean. (Dogs don't understand being reprimanded for things they did in the past.) - If you catch her in the act, you CALMLY tell her "NO, let's go outside", take her outside, praise her like there is no tomorrow when she does her business outside.
(Yelling at her will only teach her it's not safe to pee/poop near you.) - Take her out frequently, preferably every 2-3 hours. Praise her like there's no tomorrow when she goes potty outside. It's only temporary though.
She is an adult dog, pretty much able to hold it for 8 hours, but you have to teach her the rules. And do try contacting a no-kill shelter or a breed rescue about her. She can find a home, but she needs an experienced owner with no other animals who is willing to work on her issues.
"Attacking other animals" can happen for many reasons: fear, dominance, lack of socialization, or simply, the dog is an a$$hat because she never had to keep rules :P - all these things can be worked on. While no-kill shelters and breed rescues are the safest place for a dog with behavior issues but it comes with a price: many of them work with a waiting list: they have limited space for dogs, so the new dogs are taken in as their current dogs get adopted. This means two things for you: 1.
The sooner you contact them, the sooner you can get rid of the dog. 2. You might have to foster her a bit longer.
Educating yourself on basic dog training would make this easier for both of you: you could understand why she is doing what and start house breaking her. IME the shelter/rescue employees are pretty helpful too, so don't be afraid to ask for their advice if you have problems.
If I have understood your question, your parents found this dog, they couldnt keep is because she is dog aggressive, so you took it. But you took it knowing you have urges to hurt animals. Now the dog isnt house trained so you have the urge to hurt it.
1) Take her to the vet. She should be scanned for a microchip. The vet may be able to contact her previous owners.
They may have given her up for dead. Tell the vet your parents found her. Leave her at the vets.
2) There is no evidence this dog has been abused. Dog aggression is normal for all terriers that were not properly socialised with other dogs when they were puppies. There is no good reason not to take her to the vet.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
