Since my Ipod took a nosedive on me (I say that like it isn't my fault! ) I borrowed my daughter's mp3 player that she doesn't use. I dumped her playlist, just really didn't like most of the songs on it, now I'm trying to create a new playlist.
I'm looking for suggestions. I like music from the 50's on up. A little bit of everything - except a lot of rap (some rap is ok for me).
More music from the 70' on up, but don't shy away from other decades. It needs to be fun, funky and not really depressing. Yes, some great slow songs, but remember, I use this to keep my energy and spirits up!
Rock, southern rock, classical, a little jazz, country, dance, disco (yes, I Will Survive is on my short list! ), alternative, pop, some world, a little techno(not a lot! ), post grunge, grunge (a little), Eric Clapton, Jimmy Buffet (a must!), even showtunes, I have Phantom on right now, just finished some from Wicked.
Answers are great, comments on the DB are cool, too. Thanks for your help. Asked by CAK 47 months ago Similar questions: Ipod nosedive fault borrowed daughter's mp3 player Entertainment > Music.

Here you go Okay. Here is a playlist I hope you enjoy. I just put it together a couple of days ago.
I asked a Q about people’s favorite Turn up the volume and Sing out Loud songs, so I call it my Askville Sing Out Loud Playlist. I took suggestions from Askvillers and added some of my own faves. It has a little of most things and I have really been enjoying it.
I hope you do too. Okey dokey smokey....got some for ya! Born to be Wild Bad to the Bone...one of my favs:) I could name you bunches, but I wanted to give you the lyrics to one that I never tire of listening to... If you are going through Hell Rodney Atkins Well you know those times When you feel like there's a sign there on your back Says I don't mind if ya kick me Seems like everybody has Things go from bad to worse You'd think they can't get worse than that And then they do You step off the straight and narrow And you don't know where you are Use the needle of your compass To sew up your broken heart Ask directions from a genie In a bottle of Jim Beam And she lies to you That's when you learn the truth If you're going through hell Keep on going, don't slow down If you're scared, don't show it You might get out Before the devil even knows you're there Well I been deep down in that darkness I been down to my last match Felt a hundred different demons Breathing fire down my back And I knew that if I stumbled I'd fall right into the trap that they were laying, yeah But the good news Is there's angels everywhere out on the street Holding out a hand to pull you back up on your feet The one's that you've been dragging for so long You're on your knees You might as well be praying Guess what I'm saying If your going through hell Keep on going, don't slow down If you're scared don't show it You might get out Before the devil even knows you're there Yeah, If you're going through hell Keep on moving, face that fire Walk right through it You might get out Before the devil even knows you're there If you're going through hell Keep on going, don't slow down If you're scared don't show it You might get out Before the devil even knows you're there Yeah, If you're going through hell Keep on moving, face that fire Walk right through it You might get out Before the devil even knows you're there Yeah, you might get out Before the devil even knows you're there. I love the Angel verse :) Sources: start listening!

Here's what I call my "bouncy" play list Of course it’s not your fault. It’s never the mother’s fault. The sooner everyone else learns that, the better.
This is my standard list of songs that are great to crank up and sing LOUDLY to. I added some Buffett for you at the end. Of course, if you were actually to sing loudly, they might move you to the psych ward...which may or may not be bad thing, come to think of it.... they probably have more fun there!
Or at least they can get away with more. Rock and Roll All Night by Kiss Start Me Up by the Stones Fat Bottom Girls by Queen Dude Looks Like a Lady by Aerosmith I Want You to Want Me by Cheap Trick Flirtin’ With Disaster by Molly Hatchett I’m Already Gone by the Eagles Mr. Breeze by Lynyrd Skynyrd Rock the Cradle of Love, White Wedding, and Rebel Yell by Billy Idol One Headlight by the Wallflowers And We Danced by the Hooters I’m Too Sexy (yes, that one) by Right Said Fred Same Old Situation by Motley Crue You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd Fins, Why Don’t We Get Drunk and Screw, Cheeseburger in Paradise, and Brown-Eyed Girl by Jimmy Buffett OK, it’s a cliche, but I guess we have to include Margaritaville too. Video I once sang this on stage with a live URL1 make-up, though.

How do you send music from the computer to the mp3 player.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
