Satan is NOT a fallen angel, spirit being or rival god. Satan IS one's own evil inclination that humans are challenged to master because survival alone was not enough of a challenge for humankind. Yeshayahu- Isaiah - Chapter 14 12.
How have you fallen from heaven, the morning star? You have been cut down to earth, You who cast lots on nations. Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! The original Hebrew text has No Lucifer! Xtians changed it to promote their own agenda Every person who ever lived is now in hell.
Hell is the grave. Hell - Hebrew word - Sheol, literally pit for the dead, grave. The dead are conscious of nothing.
Hell is the grave, none born miss it. Hell is not a place of eternal fiery torment. The church stole that concept from the Greek myths (see Hades, River Styx) to control their people in life and in death.
Dante's Inferno and Milton's Paradise Lost served to fuel the church's fire. From as many times a day as I type this, I say it has not only worked well for them in the past, but keeps working for them now and will continue to do so in the future until people begin to challenge them and search for the true definition of hell as being the grave. Tehillim - Psalms - Chapter 139 8.
If I ascend to the heavens, there You are, and if I make my bed in the grave, behold, You are there. KJV - Psalms 139: 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there . I've met him actually, he is kind've a dic. You should see how he prances around like he does, like a child to this very day, hasn't grown one little inkling. Can't stay in never-land with him forever can we?
Never-land with pan isn't all that it is cracked up to be. It is more like "lord of the flies" down there in old neverland actually. God kills, but he does not murder, for instance, the flood, which was not global and never was and it never even said that, those people were into some very bad things, very very bad things.
We ourselves prove everyday that we would do the same, except for our reasons(which are less than satisfactory). He had to do that to them, they probably would have destroyed the entire thing actually, it would not have been sustainable in any fashion at all, not to mention God is very fair and it is eye for an eye with him. I like the parable factor in that story.
Being lifted by him above the cruel waters of the flood(hateful things). And all that we need do is at least give our all to be good, and seek love earnestly. He could never expect perfection, but is that really what he is seeking from us?
I don't think so, not right now anyway. Not to mention that no man has the right to talk about such things, myself included, we probably don't even have the right to talk about satan being bad at this point if we wanted to. All that we do down here in man-ville is kill usually.
Yep, I think that man has both of them beat actually, perhaps your question should be "If satan and God are the bad guys, then why does man kill more people/animals/etc. than both of them put together.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
