I went to buy Nyquil a couple of years ago when I lived in Indiana and I had to sign a paper and write my address as well. If under 18, you cannot buy certain OTC medication, and if over 18 they want to see how often adults are buying it and they will refuse to sell it to you if you are abusing it. Now I live in PA and I can buy Nyquil with no questions asked and it is on the shelf whereas in Indiana you have to get it from the pharmacist.
Thanks! Yes and I am also 12. Alex 14 days ago .
Yeah, right, lol! You have to at least be 13 to be on Askville ;) .
The Combat Methamphetamine Epidemic Act of 2005 has been incorporated into the Patriot Act signed by President Bush on March 9, 2006. The act bans over-the-counter sales of cold medicines that contain the ingredient pseudoephedrine, which is commonly used to make methamphetamine. The sale of cold medicine containing pseudoephedrine is limited to behind the counter.
The amount of pseudoephedrine that an individual can purchase each month is limited and individuals are required to present photo identification to purchase products containing pseudoephedrine. In addition, stores are required to keep personal information about purchasers for at least two years. "Government intervening in our lives.
I love how they slipped this into the Patriot Act. "Terrorist, Meth Head, meh. They all look the same to me." htm.

I know. It makes me wonder if they noticed and were waiting for product, maybe? ("Just let her cook for another hour!") .
It was only when she opened Season 1 of Breaking Bad and started watching it on a DVD player that they became suspicious. " *not really, I made that up .
I love how this popped into the Addictions category. Alex, do we need to have a private chat? ;)It's been for a few years (I think the previous answers have all the details).
It's unfortunate for people like me with major allergies cos I can't just "load up" on the claritin like I used to - gotta keep running back in to get 1 big pack at a time since they have the "fed" part in any allergy meds with "D" at at the end for the decongestant. So how'd it feel to get carded for meds? ;) .
Something like that. Anyone buying a lot would be suspect.
2006, in order to curb its use in the production of meth.

It's been about 10 years now; ever since they understood meth labs were buying it and using it to create methamphetamines.
"bath salts - and some states have already started limiting their sale.
Given the notion that our emotions are biochemical addictions, would you rather overcome your addictions or harness them.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
