Sir Isaac Newton refused to have any clergy by his side when he was dying! Why? Boosh has done a lot of research on Sir Isaac Newton and already know the answer.
Just trying to spread a little interesting stuff to everyone interested in the community. Check it out! Asked by BOOSH 6 months ago Similar questions: Sir Isaac Newton refused clergy side dying Science > Physics.

He was religious but not a Trinitarian. He was more in tune with the Arian Christian beliefs and I would assume he would not accept a clergyman because he was Anglican and did not want to be given communion and last rights. I think today, being aware of current scientific advances, he might very well be an agnostic or Unitarian.
You are very close! Nice answer. I will reply after the community has had more time to think about it.

Okay, saying Arian isn't enough. Isaac Newton did not believe that Jesus was God. Most of the early Christians did not believe Jesus was a God or God.
No sermon. I just hope people read the Bible and then learn from it. I do not see any hope for mankind cept what the Bible says is our future. In reference to my original question, Sir Isaac discovered that certain Scriptures were changed from their original rendering to bolster the doctrine of the trinity.
This apparently really upset him and was a contributing factor for his refusing the sacrament at his death. He truly resented the Church and what they did. There are numerous references in the Scriptures pointing to the need to have accurate knowledge.
The knight, Sir Isaac, spent a great deal of his life searching for this accurate knowledge in Scripture, but was forced to kept his findings secret because of fear of being labeled a heretic of which he was. Thank you for your replies and I promise no sermons, Boosh BOOSH 6 months ago .
The bible is a collection of approved stories selected from a ton of different accounts all written hundreds of years after the fact and selected by a Roman Emperor who wasn't a Christian and confirmed that the Roman religon was to be official religion of the state but that a new Christian organized church would be tolerated. Early texts aren't even consistently translated and they were in Greek not Aramaic or even Hebrew.
You are certainly correct about Constantine! The Bible spoke of a great apostasy that would contaminate the true religion after the 'restraint' or apostles had left the earthly scene and that is exactly what happened. Constantine who was a pagan tried to unite his empire by creating what was most popular (it is said that later he became a Christian).
The result was an amalgamation of pagan customs with Christian beliefs. The trick is to find what the pagan customs were at the time and then remove them from our worship. However, most people today are satisfied with what they have regardless if it is contaminated or not.In reference to translation, you are correct.
However there have been translators who have poured over countless different manuscripts in an attempt to get as close to correct as possible and the Jews for countless centuries used scribes who were meticulously trained to keep the writings accurate. And the Bible is the oldest known book of worship. Without it's account of creation one would be lost as to how we came to be on this earth.
A person can always turn to 'evolution' but it is a theory and it has huge gaps. So wide it is laughable. But that is a subject for later discussion, one I would like to take on.

Evolution is the most successful and proven theory every expounded and it will have gaps as long as there is something new to learn. That's why it is always a theory. Constantine was very likely baptized on his deathbed (probably in a coma if you look at his life's work) and he was baptized by an Arian Bishop which means the original concept that Jesus was not God.
Over and out.
I totally disagree about the theory of evolution because it stands in stark contrast to Spiritual concept, but such is my belief. Everyone is entitled to their own belief system and I will never challenge that. You are totally correct about what is understood about Constantine which tells me you really enjoy history.
Not many people know such things or a just not interested. Respectfully, Boosh BOOSH 6 months ago .
Ps the The Hebrew scriptures aren't the oldest existing religious texts and they were passed down by word of mouth, not documented until the second century BC and reflect Egyptian, Babylonian and a lot of earlier stories.

Isaac was smart enough to be an honest atheist. Why have the sooth sayers of fantsasy taking up limited space? .
I asked this question quite awhile ago but am glad you replied. Tell me more of what you mean. Thanks, Boosh BOOSH 3 months ago .
The church hurt him....didn't like his science ideas.
Actually Shasha the Church did hurt him in a way but not for his scientific accomplished. The Church hurt in the sense that they did not espouse truth in their dogma and he found it out through research. Please do a little research and find out for yourself what this brilliant man did and why he was bitter against the Church.
I will tell you what I have found in our next correspondence. Thanks for responding Boosh BOOSH 6 months ago .
Newton rejected a host of doctrines he considered mystical, irrational, or superstitious. In a word, he was a Unitarian.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
