So AOL does content; hiring hundreds of journalists. Google and Microsoft do search and anything else. What does Yahoo then?

Free Email, Yahoo Games, and other similar services make Yahoo a portal not unlike AOL. Check out the format of the two side by side aol.com/ m.www.yahoo.com/ You mentioned that AOL has its own unique content but yahoo is finding and linking the content. I believe Yahoo's model may be less expensive, but with them leaving the search market they may have to fight to stay relevant.

Good Question!

Yahoo actually does the same thing Google does, Online Ad Space...

Yahoo's partnering up with Microsoft. They announced it on July 29 - they're going to work together on search, because apparently Yahoo seems to think that Microsoft Bing has a chance at overtaking Google (my opinion? There's just no way.) Here's an interview from CNN on the deal: brainstormtech.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/200... Honestly, though, it's always had a weird position in the market.

It's had search for some time, but there were always better alternatives even before Google. It had a directory which was doing well, but not so much lately. So this seems like a Hail Mary for them more than anything.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
