You have experienced some very life altering changes. I think it would be perfectly normal to feel sad for short periods of time, but there is nothing wrong with asking your doctor. It might just put your mind at ease.

Thanks Carla, I wouldn't turn down anti-depressants but only if the Dr. thinks they really would work. Grandmabx 2 months ago .

Talk to doctor. After everything you have been through this year, I don't think it weird at all to suddenly feel sad for no reason, but it really is not "normal" - not that I know what normal is! .

Thank you my friend. Yes, I think it's time for a talk with my Dr. before it gets worse. Although I realize I had a rough year, I don't like that feeling.

What everyone is sayng here is so true, so please listen to them. Anytime your feeling sad just come here and look around, Im sure you will find something that will put a smile back on your sweet angel face. :) .

You're wonderful my friend. Thank you. Grandmabx 2 months ago .

There are all kinds of reason something makes you sad, many are in your subconscious. I would feel sad when I would smell pipe tobacco smoke, I finally realize I was missing my Uncle who would smoked a pipe. You will some day realize what is making you have this feeling and it will be an amazing relief.

As long as it goes away, I wouldn't worry too much. Ask the doc just to be sure it's not pathological. Might be side effects from trauma or meds, also.

Yeah, had lots of meds the last year. Grandmabx 2 months ago .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
