Spiritually Speaking- Is It Wrong To Thumb Down (TD) Your Very Own.....?

Adam's slumber and no mention of ever "reawakening" was first brought to light in A Course in Miracles and offers for the first time that perhaps, yes we have been living in a dream state. Although the story of Adam and Eve is a figurative tale, it does not diminish the truth it represents. As we begin to look around us to witness the world that we, as mankind, have created, we slowly begin to "awaken" to the illusions we have pursued so relentlessly through the coveting that is so prevalent within our human nature, indeed our ego state.

Becoming the observer of self is what reveals the ego within. Once identified, Truth can begin to be separated from ego-created fiction. We are so incredibly guilty of this act, day in and day out.

However the more exposed the ego mind becomes, the more the Light of Truth shines forth until eventually ego begins to become controlled and within time, should the awakened student remain steadfast to faith, the ego is overcome and the Christ, Buddha, Krishna, etc. indeed our Divinity within replaces that which was once occupied by the ego state. Love Unconditional is seen finally for what it has always been, never once having been lost or separated. Truth is seen, at last, that Truth always is as it always has been.

Blessings.

In this realm, we experience illusions of separation. I suppose you could call it a dream, since we don't yet have the vocabulary to describe this incarnated state (we call it being alive). We are indeed "sparks of the One", little pieces of the God force... and this collective force includes all life forms.

I have always said, God is an IT, not a HE. As for awakening from this illusion, I would say the illusion has a purpose. That of teaching us lessons and exposing us to new experiences.

It's almost as if the God force sends out little bits of itself (us) into different realities/dimensions to expand its own consciousness. When this life ends, we return to the source and it absorbs all that we have experienced. The hardest pill for man to swallow is that every experience has a purpose, even the horrific ones.

Good, bad, right, wrong... they have no meaning beyond this realm. Earth is a school, nothing more. Namaste :-).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
