SQL Server : how to select a fixed amount of rows (select every x-th value)?

In essence, all you need to do to select the x-th value is retain all rows where the modulus of the rownumber divided by x is 0.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
