Stage four breast cancer, is it a terminal cancer?

My wife survived breast cancer at her advanced stage by a suitable treatment in Adyar Cancer Institute, Chennai, (MADRAS) India. It was in the year 2002, and by the grace of GOD through the Doctor V. Santha, the Chairperson of WIA, Chennai.

I feel it is my duty to bring Dr. Muthu Lakshmi Reddi a great scholar who is the founder of WIA. She was born on 30 July 1886 in the Pudukottai of Tamilnadu and left the world on 22 July 1968 Madras) (It is believed that she was born to a devadasi) It is believed that her mother died of cancer and in poverty in Muthulakshmi’s young age. She is the First Women M.B.B.S. Doctor of India .

She is the first Women Legislator in India . She was M.L.C in Tamil Nadu and became Vice President of House, there by a First Woman Vice President of any Legislative Houses in the world.. She was the founder-president of the Women’s Indian Association (WIA) and became the first alderwoman of the Madras Corporation. Dr Reddy was actively involved with several orphanage homes and women’s welfare organisations, and initiated measures to improve the medical facilities given to slum dwellers.

In 1930, she founded Avvai Home, a home for destitute women and orphans at Besant Avenue , Adyar. As an MLC, she introduced a scheme of free education for girls up to class eight. She was instrumental to abolish devadasi system in India .

It is not out of place to point out that, while Rajaji argued in the legislative house that devadasi system should not be abolished by giving some reasons, Muthu Lakshmi Reddi replied Rajaji that if it is required for the society, then let you higher cast people including Rajaji’s daughter can takeover the charges and release the present devadasis amidst overwhelming response of the full house. She found the Adyar Cancer Institute in Chennai under WIA a non profit organization. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
