Star Trek : Do you think Data of Star Trek and Robot Daniel Olivaw, of Caves of Steele, are similar?

I think that they are very similar, and I would not be surprised if the producers of Star Trek did model Data on Olivaw. Both are human like, logical, and flawed in that their programming in that they are unable to understand the nuances of human behavior.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
