Happy Birthday Don, and thanks for all the great music! Thanks for reminding us all of Don's birthday - I agree with those who can't pick just one Dan tune. They're all good.

YouTube has a TON of live Steely Dan vids if you just search for the band name. The steely dan website www.steelydan.com now has a history of the band, for those interested. And there's a Steely Dan Dictionary at the www.

It's not easy to find. I got it on Amazon many years ago. You might try your local library.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
