When it comes to murder - people are ALWAYS killed by other people The only thing that varies is WHY they kill them Over the centuries people have been killed either cos they were of a different religion from the killer, or had no religion at all that is - they were killed by others trying to force their religion on them - ie. Enforcing religion was the driving force NOBODY has ever been killed because they refused to become atheist So "atheism" has never killed anybody cos NOBODY has ever tried to force anybody to become an atheist That means either 1) the studies are a lie (that is - the data in the studies do not support the conclusions) or 2) the people carrying them out are either stupid or liars (cos they did not understand the data did not support the conclusions, OR they did understand, but didn't care cos they had already decided what the conclusions would be (sounds just like the creationist "institutions")) or 3) You are lying cos they do not show what you claim (hitler killed to eliminate religious groups or anybody (theist or atheist) he thought a danger to the reich - he did not kill to force atheism on them stalin killed to eliminate anybody (theist or atheist) he thought a danger to communism - again he did not kill to force them to become atheist pol pot did the same as stalin So NONE of the major killers of the 20th century killed to enforce atheism, in all cases the killers personal beliefs were irrelevent to their reason for killing).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
