People who have good short term memories do well at school, but it does them no practical good in life because they forget 90% of what they learned in a year. You, (like me) have a good long term memory. I remember a lot of what I learned 50 years ago.
The problem is that I can't remember a lot of uninteresting facts and spit the answers back on a test 3 days later. My grades looked like yours. I went on in life getting jobs that interested me (heavy equipment operator, truck driver, mechanic, etc.), and was never in want.
You don't have to be rich to enjoy life, you just need enough. College education is not a guarantee of a good paying job.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
