They got the seats, so clearly people are voting for them- fraction of the population or not, that fraction put in the votes, so they are entitled to the seats they won. If the people in those constituencies didn't want the SNP representing them, they were perfectly entitled to vote for someone else. Also, third-largest party or not, they still only control 56 seats.
Labour has over 4 times as many seats as the SNP does, and the Conservatives have even more. Once again, they have those seats because the people in those constituencies voted for them.
They represent the entire of Scotland at the mo, which is a fair chunk of the UK so I think its fair that they do have a large say in UK politics. I do think that much of their vote is Scotland is down to revenge for Westminster dragging its feet over promised reforms after the independence vote.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
