The Tea Party was formed over taxation. If you find a Tea Party group somewhere that has stuck to its original roots you will be ok. The "New Tea Party" as I call it would be an ill fit for you as it has been hijacked by Libertarians calling themselves conservatives.
The Tea Party Movement is about government spending and taxes. Some have tried to bring social issues into the picture but that isn't what it's about. "Tea" is actually an acronym which stands for: Taxed Enough Already You're pro-choice, I'm pro-life.
That has nothing to do with economics or fiscal responsibility so we could join hands at a Tea Party Rally and express our displeasure with the bloated federal government and it's wasteful spending. My new grandbaby is 9 weeks old and he already owes the federal government $40,000.00. 50% of Americans don't have to pay taxes so if my new grandson works when he grows up, he'll have to pay back $80,000.00!
Is that fair? ($12 trillion debt divided by 300 million people = $40k multiplied by two since half don't pay taxes = $80k) You're 22 so you've probably already started paying your $80k share. If I was you, I'd never miss a Tea Party Rally!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
