Speaking as a step mom to 3 teenagers and 2 preteens..........it depends on the kid. I have a 19yo who is still irresponsible and a 12yo who could make it one thier own. Most kids today are treated the way they are because parents get in trouble if they don't act right.
The problem is the government stepping in and telling us what is right or wrong about ever little thing in our lives. A 15yo is treated like a child because if they get in trouble the parents will end up paying a big fine or going to jail. Teens get treated like aduls when they act like adults!
To be honest I think at 15 you should be considered an adult. I think at 18 you should be allowed to drink. I see 50 year olds that act worse than teenagers and don't even know anything about checking or paying bills.
While I know teenagers that handle their parents finances. I am 24 and had kids at 18, moved out at 16. Adults are a bunch of @$$ wholes if you ask me.
They need to change the laws, I completely agree with you.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
