I met him in year 7, but he was in year six. I got to know him really well through activities we did through school and I liked him. We both went to different high schools, I went to an all-girls private school and he went to the same public co-ed school as my best friend.
I saw him once a year for three years at a music camp in the holidays but never had the chance to get over him, it made me kind of depressed. In year ten, my best friend became better friends with his group at school. She started going out with one of his friends and I began to see him a few times.
Now I'm in year 11 and he's in year 10. At the beginning of this year, they were talking after school and she told him that I liked him. We caught up twice as a big group over the holidays and he asked me out!
It's been four years and I lost hope, but everything I wished for just sorted its self out and fell into place. We've been on one date since then, and I've realized that the whole idea of being in a relationship terrifies me. I know that he's a year below me, and I haven't told all of my friends at school yet, but I can see happiness on the horizon and I'm trying not to stress too much.
Just hang in there :).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
