Because of Vince McMahon's propaganda stating the WWE is better (in every way) than anything else out there, and the fact that the WWE is everywhere and VERY easy to find. I don't think there is a single market in North America that doesn't have at least one WWE TV show. Everybody is able to watch at least RAW or Smackdown and the vast majority of us can watch both.
There is no work involved, just change the channel with your remote. TNA has only one TV show a week (which means they aren't as widespread as the WWE). And no other promotion has a TV show most of us can watch; few fans are willing to work to find their shows (searching for and downloading them on the internet or buying DVDs).
Couple that with most people's mistaken belief that the WWE is the pinnacle of excellence, and only the elite of the elite of the best "make it" to the WWE, which Vince and his commentators do everything they can to further that belief, and most people DO believe that the best of the best are in the WWE. Ipso facto, if you're not in the WWE then you ain't good enough. Son of ipso facto, because the Divas are the "best of the best" and they "suck" then women who "can't make it" in the WWE must be truly horrendous.
Most people buy into that belief and don't bother to check it out for themselves. Propaganda is a terrible thing. WQ: Most overrated is The Fabulous Moolah.
The best female wrestler of all-time? Not hardly. She was 28-year World Champ because SHE was the booker and agent for most of the female wrestlers in North America and she had the backing and support of Vince McMahon Senior who often contracted with Moolah to provide female wrestlers for his shows.
She was mostly gimmick and just a brawler in the ring. Most underrated is Molly Holly (talking about just the WWF/E). The best overall in-ring female performer the WWF/E ever had yet she gets little mention on the internet, as most people would rather talk about the Divas in terms of "hotness" and gimmick, rather than actual wrestling skills and performances.
WQ2: They are both very good so it comes down to which is more entertaining to YOU. For me, that's Ken Anderson. His sarcasm is a little more biting than Punk's, and he's funnier.
WQ3: Legacy was Orton and a couple of lackeys. Didn't care for it at all. Nexus is pretty much Barrett and a bunch of lackeys, but Nexus has a couple of guys who don't LIKE being known as lackeys (Otunga, especially) and are trying to do something about it.
I ain't a fan of Otunga but at least he's trying to BE something other than an expendable whipping boy and fall guy for Barrett. Nexus could be something better than it is, but Vince and his crayon-wielders don't seem to know what to do with them, so Nexus remains a bunch of one-dimensional thugs. I'm not a fan of Nexus, either, but they have more potential than Legacy ever did.
Legacy was just a vanity thing for Orton only. Nexus can be a vehicle for a variety of (storyline) directions and a way to get a bunch of "rookies" over and made into stars. Vince needs to think of Nexus (except for Barrett) as more than just a bunch of thugs.
The Diva matches are cut shorter and they bring these women who were fitness models who have no wrestling or little experience. I've never heard the one about female wrestling is bad in general,SHIMMER, WSU and some other female wrestling companies are not bad they show more of the female wrestling and less of the eye candy prospect. I suggest you check out SHIMMER and WSU websites they have some pretty good wrestlersthat need to be noticed.
WQ: Its hard to say but as for overrated its gotta be Jillian Hall ever since she came to the WWE people have not recognized that she has some good wrestling ability back when she was in OVW and other companies. As for underrated its hard to say. WQ2: Mr Anderson.
WQ3: Nexus.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
