If circular logic didn't exist then neither would christians.
Actually, most people in the world believe that there is a God, the hard part is making everyone aware that it is the same God for everyone and not a Muslim God or a Christian God or a Jewish God or a Hindu God...you get the point. Believing that we have a soul and that soul is from God is a personal choice, made for reasons ranging from 'that's what dad believes' to 'whoa, that was a miracle!'. Oddly enough, many people who believe in God have never read the Bible or the Quran or the Torah!
They came to the conclusion that God exists because of something important that happened in their lives. In its entirety, belief in God means submission to His will, which is to say that for what ever reason, when thousands die, God knows what is going on and it is not our place to worry about it. If you subscribe to this belief then you will not worry about being one who dies because of what you know of God.
I used the word Know, as opposed to 'think' or 'suspect'. I am a curious person who has studied history and culture, but through my studies I only 'suspect' there is a God. It is through my own, personal adventures and actions that I Know there is a God.
Since it starts out as a personal choice, like food or music or the colour of your briefs, belief in God (or a Creator) is not something people readily share with strangers. I would not blame you for not wanting to tell people you are 'God-curious', it is uncool until you end up in a situation where there is no explanation for why you survived that car accident. Similarly, I cannot tell you what to believe because you either have it in you, or you don't.
Be happy and don't sweat the philosophy. God calls to His Light, whom He will.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
