Edit - The economy is still hurting, but it is improving, so of course people aren't happy with the economy. Also, the fox news spin machine gets all the right wingers with their spin to think there hasn't been any improvement in the economy when there has been. That's why the 38%.

I don't know how much control over the economy the president of the US really has. America is not a communist country with a command economy so the government cannot just employ everyone themselves or prop up failing businesses with cash. Other countries are also in the same boat, like Japan, Italy, Spain, Britain, France, so the problem is wider than just America and the control of an American president.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
