The gop believes strongly in cutting soc sec and medicare. seniors?

Social Security is a pyramid scheme. It cannot sustain itself. In order to keep it going, the government either has to cut benefits or raise taxes or a combination of both to fund it.

There are too many people drawing social security and not enough people paying into it. I don't trust the GOP, either, but something needs to be done to make sure that the people who are currently paying into the system will be able to draw benefits when they get old. I would set up social security to where people can choose to receive their maximum benefits until they reach the country's average life expectancy or they can choose to receive reduced benefits but get those for the rest of their live.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
