These errors occur a lot under Windows XP and are often fixed by enabling disk use on your iPod. You need to click “enable disc use” then “apply”. Open Device Manager, then click “Scan For Hardware Changes” and this should fix the error "iPod cannot by synced.
The required disk cannot be found.
Maybe you have to reinstall itunes or update itunes or maybe because of the cabel try syncing on a different computer if it workes then reinstall or update itunes and if it doesn't then it is from the ipod or the cabel and update your ipod.
