No but it is compatible with it and you should use MotionPlus if you can.

Unfortunately, I think it is the plug in on the Wii remote that is causing the problem, and it can't be fixed. It seems like many people with the regular Wii controllers with the MotionPlus plug-in are less than satisfied with their plug-in. Our Wal-Mart was out of plug-ins, so I had to buy a remote with the Wii MotionPlus built in, and I haven't had an issue, so it seems like it's just the nature of the plug-in.
The only way to really solve it would be to buy a remote with the MotionPlus built in, and try it out. Or, if you have a friend with a MotionPlus remote, maybe ask to borrow it until you've beaten the game.
Nintendo fobbed you off (or they couldn't see the problem). What you're describing sounds EXACTLY like a Wii with a broken GPU - flickering artifacts, vertical bars of junk pixels... It's a known issue with Wii's although not massively common. Google "Wii broken GPU" and you'll find numerous videos that illustrate what you describe.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
