The New Orleans Saints won the Superbowl. Do you think that will help the city somehow? The New Orleans Saints won the Superbowl.
Do you think that will help the city somehow? Answer from Poppet! I live in a town that has not won a football game in years and years...well, maybe one once a year or so, but really, our football team sucks big time, and I just don’t understand this.
I’m speaking of the high school football team, so the players change annually pretty much and they’ve had a variety of different coaches, too, and still can’t win a game. I’ve lived in this town over 20 years and I can’t every remember having a good football team. So I can empathize with New Orleans (kind of) as to how it feels when you’ve worked for years to win something and to finally win and feeling proud of your team and your community!
(well, I am still waiting for that win and the HUGE sense of pride that comes with it!). New Orleans has not had a really great image since the whole Katrina thing. We saw more of the "real" New Orleans that they probably didn’t want us to see--the corruption, the poor leadership, the greed, and all kinds of bad stuff that they would have preferred we not see.
With this big Super Bowl win, they can get rid of some of that negative image and present a WINNING image to the world now! They are winners, and that gains them respect and consequently more tourists back to visiting New Orleans! They will get lots of publicity, too--which is a very good thing in this case!
It will remind people that they should visit (and spend money) in New Orleans, and help bring back their economy. I definitely think it’s a good thing for New Orleans to win this year! It will help the city, for sure!
Go for the food! .
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
