Got home from work to find 2 bundles of 100 phone books each dumped in the lobby. (yellow pages) There are only 36 apts. In my building.

Why in the heck would they leave that many? When is the last time you looked something up in a phone book? Do you even have any in your house?

Just really pisses me off, cause last year I had to trundle all of them to the recycle bin - no one took any of them. And there is STILL the other company to bring theirs...... Asked by TurboB 33 months ago Similar questions: phone books Environment > Waste Management.

Yes I do I still use my phonebook......must be the scotch in me. It cost to call Information in Mass 35 cents for each time after like 4 I think. It costs $1.50 to do it on my cell.

I know there's free 411 and the other one but they take so much time. I will look it up online but at home I simply look it up in the phone book. I don't do it often but I do use it!

Call the company back and ask them to pick them back up. You can also tell them not to send so many. This saves all around with just one call.

An hour ago... (at the time of posting) and there are 2 at the dining room phone, and theoretically one or two in my office and one in my wife's office. Also 2 in my truck (one due to be dropped for recycling and one current one) however, the overabundance of phone books left for you to deal with is justifiably annoying.

We live in the little town south of there and we have 4 phone books! We have them in the kitchen, in the office, or wherever he leaves them. I usually take them to work and there is a very nice person that takes them to the recycling center.Me, I am not as nice, I would just throw them out!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
