There seems to be some confusion to who ever is asking this question Uranus has seasons that last for about 21 years, but a day on Uranus is 17 hours 14 minutes whereas a year on Uranus is 84.323 Earth years No planet known, has a year (time taken to orbit the Sun once) of 42 Earth years. See related question The only relation to 42 is the amount of sunlight the poles get. The poles get 42 years of sunlight followed by 42 years of darkness.
