The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. How well do you think they match?

Well I guess this one is pretty easy to answer now that the Phoenix Suns have eliminated the San Antonio Spurs. No I do not think the Spurs have enough in the tank to defeat the Suns. For the first time that I can remember the boys from Phoenix actually play a little defense.

Not a lot mind you, but enough to make a difference in their overall game. That and the fact the Spurs are really getting up there in age and it left it doubtful that San Antonio would advance. I wish they could have gone all the way, if only for the sake of Antonio McDyess who has been nothing less than a class act in his NBA career and deserves to wear a championship ring.

Phoenix deserved this win because of their improved all around play, if not for the antics of embarrassing the NBA by wearing jersey that read “LOS SUNS If they wanted to represent Mexico then that is where they should relocate. But if it is as they say to honor their Latin communities, then, how about the French, English, Maltese, Chinese and every other nationality?

This series was already over but it is still worth answering. The match up between these two ball clubs is interesting because these two teams have contrasting style of basketball. The Phoenix Suns usually prefer playing I fast with transition plays and up-tempo fast break plays.

They also love to tear down the defense of their opponents with their pick and rolls and savvy penetrations of it marquee players in the number 2, 3 and 4 positions. While the Suns loves to run the Spurs would rather take full advantage of their height and might. They excel in half court offense and also thrive on the plays that will give Manu Ginobili or Tony Parker for field goals.

The Spurs have the edge on the center position, but definitely have the disadvantage in the forward positions since the Suns have Amare Stoudemire. The game might be decided on the guard positions for both of the opposing teams are well armed with great point guards. The Suns definitely have the edge, because of their speed, ample enough experience, and they are younger.

Eventually the Suns earned the right to meet the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers via a 4-0 shut out of their Western Conference rival Spurs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBbQgAE8YpM.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
