There was a television show in the 70's I am trying to remember, part "Lost", part "Mad Max" The show concerned a group of teenagers either stranded on an island or living in a post nuclear world. They seemed to have dune buggies to drive around in. Does anyone know the show, who was in it and if it is now available?

Dont' remind me, please, I beg you, don't make me do it. Ark II (1976-1979) - OK, it just hangs on the fringe of my memory, so I thought I'd include it here. This Saturday morning live-action show was the adventures of three young scientists in the 25th century after the planet has basically been polluted to death.

They had this bitchun' RV-slash-science lab (called "Ark II") that they travelled around in. The best part, however, was the jet-packs -- I swear they were real. :-) And they had a chimpanzee (what was it with chimps on TV in the '70's?).

Oh, and the lead scientist's name was Noah. >>>//70slivekidvid.com/ark.htmSpartan Caver Sources: Spartan Caver Says: .

That had a family that was stranded and there were dinosaurs around. The father and his two kids and a monkey were all hanging around (no pun intended). I don't remember dune buggies though.

So, it probably wasn't 'Land of the Lost'. Autumn00™:0)'s Recommendations Land of the Lost - The Complete First Season Amazon List Price: $39.95 Used from: $20.85 Average Customer Rating: 4.5 out of 5 (based on 57 reviews) .

1 Maybe -- but the one I am thinking of likely was not a morning show. It was fairly hard-edged and had a large, ensemble cast. I don't think that it even made it an entire season. It was a bit controversial (shirtless guys and girls in “short-shorts” with implied teen sex along with an ecological "hippie" theme).

It really struck me at the time and I have always wanted to see it again.

Watch this video and tell me if you remember a television show that was done with these puppets.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
