Tipping questions?

Jason announced on Thursday that for the day the default tip would go to one Mahalo dollar. mahalo.com/answers/one-day-only-default-... One Day Only! Default tip has been set to M1 for the next 24 hours.

Please ask and answer amazing questions! I suppose this means sometime this weekend we will go back to the default tip of M$0.10 but for now enjoy the extra money. I asked four questions yesterday and they all had a Mahalo funded dollar tip added to them automatically.

I have not yet tried today but the longer this big default tip stays active the better :).

I am fairly new here, been on for a month, and must admit I am totally confused with this area of tipping etc. I thought because yesterday my account was down by half, they take the money from your account when you ask a question, but I had only asked one question at the time. I can't understand who sets the price when you ask a question. I know this isn't helpful, but hope some one can clear this up for you!

The coffee chain says the mobile tipping option, which it announced more than a year ago, will be available on its updated app for iPhones starting March 19. The rollout comes as the company's app has surged in popularity, with roughly one out of every 10 purchases now made with a mobile device. After paying with the app, Starbucks says customers will be able to leave a tip of 50 cents, $1 or $2 anytime within two hours of the transaction.

The tipping option will only be available at the 7,000 of the roughly 11,000 Starbucks locations in the U.S. that are owned by the company. The move puts a spotlight on what can be a sensitive topic for customers, workers and even Starbucks, which has faced lawsuits over how it divvies up the contents of tip jars among workers. Some customers are happy to tip for friendly service, knowing that baristas don't earn that much.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
