Wow, easy 2 points. Conservatives approved of the Bush agenda because he was one of them. They didn't care about his version of "social justice" (by helping the poor), because it fed the market bubble that he will always be known for.
They didn't care about the increased debt for the wars, or Medicare, or NCLB, because Cheney said that "Deficits don't matter". Conservatives have whip-lashed so far to the right that they now believe that the EPA shouldn't enforce environmental regulations on private companies. They don't believe that the disabled on Medicaid deserve funding.
They want to privatize Medicare and let old people pay for their own prescriptions, instead of what their own Medicare Part D calls for. The Republican party is so extreme these days that it's no wonder why the majority of "regular" people don't agree with them. November 2012 should be interesting.
Dumb and Dumber. Really many of them have lost jobs, homes, business, insurance for their medical cost; retirement, and the inability to send their children to college. Yet they want more Bush Tax Cuts, less business regulations not for the Mom and Pop store; but huge global corporations, who tuck their profits in off-shore accounts to further cheat our American government.
Abusive relationships are not healthy; even political ones.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
