Tools and Frameworks required for a new Java web application?

I would suggest Spring Framework as it has everything that you require and more. Using Spring Roo you can quickly start an application and have it up and running with everything you want. I would suggest removing Roo once you are up and running though. At least for now that's what we do.

Maybe in time it will mature to the point where we will find it always useful.

Good option. Is there any way I can reduce the development time with Spring? – Intellisaurus Jan 26 at 18:14 It depends.

Roo does speed up the initial part of the project, configuring everything and adding entities etc. But I still find that later on you have to do a bit without it. – Vincent Ramdhanie Jan 26 at 18:15 Thanks Vincent. I've started looking into it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
