Top Five Tourist Spots in Charlotte, NC?

I cannot believe this question has been left unanswered! My daughter and I traveled through Charlotte last spring on our way to South Carolina and the city was charming-- particularly the downtown area. We toured an accessible art gallery where impressive and thoughtful works, youth to adult, were on display.

We ate at the mez , a funky place downtown "featuring innovative, eclectic cuisine from award winning, acclaimed Miami Chef Klime Kovaceski. " And we walked around the city blocks, wishing we had time to attend a theater performance. I loved the feel of this small city and completely understand why so many visit and never leave.

Here are some headlines about Charlotte-- called the Queen City because it was named after Queen Charlotte:Prevention Magazine recently named the Queen City the best “Walking City” in North Carolina. Self Magazine also named Charlotte one of “Five Cities with Big Outdoor Appeal” for features like its Public Art Walking Tour, accessible museums such as the Mint Museum of Craft + Design, and nearby outdoor excursions like the U.S. National Whitewater Center.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
