Tourist postcards sold around the world : where do I find concrete financial information about the size of the world market?

Research and Markets has a research report called "The World Market for Letter Cards, Plain Postcards, and Correspondence Cards Made of Paper or Paperboard: A 2009 Global Trade Perspective" researchandmarkets.com/reportinfo.asp?re... but they want 637 Euros for it. They also have a report for "The World Market for Postcards, Personal Greeting Cards, Announcement Cards, and Decalcomanias: A 2009 Global Trade Perspective" http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reportinfo.asp?report_id=699935 They proport to have a methodology that allows them to generate their estimates. Since tourist postcards could be printed by any competent printer and those wouldn't be captured in import and export statistics I suspect rough estimates are the best you will be able to find.

If you are really serious about the numbers you should contact Icon Group who authored the reports and see if they can supply the numbers. http://www.icongrouponline.com/industries.asp?sid=746068290.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
