Also a non-answer. Aggregation and so on is better done in the database as less back and forth communication happens, marshalling a database number to a java object and other overhead.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
