Transferring to Berkeley from a CCC with a C?

If English is your first language, I would gently recommend you find a school that will better fit your abilities. You are unlikely to get in with a 3.65. So you should consider retaking English.

You "go", not "attend"? I = I You "found out" or "learned"? Why was this a surprise to you?

Aren't you paying attention? Your "extra curricular"? Your extracurricular WHAT?

You "have to internships" or "two internships"? You volunteer at two hospitals, a senior citizen's group home and at the YMCA? Do you read for pleasure?

Sure doesn't look that way. Maybe above wasn't very helpful. Yes, retake the course (or ask the prof if there is any way to do extra credit to push it up to a B (unlikely if grades were posted already)).

You should have aced it. Your poor GPA indicates you are NOT getting the grades you need to get to succeed at UC-B! Hence you need to start getting all A's.

You are not studing enough or just don't have the skill set. To me, it sounds like you need to focus on the academics. I don't know what your internships mean.It seems strange to me that you are asking here (Y!

A) if you have contacts in the UCB College of Natural Resources. Go talk to someone there. See what they think you should do.

Get aggressive. Pursue it. Don't be a victim.

"So I recently found out..." What a loser! No excuses."Do, or do not. There is no 'try'.

At Berkeley with a "C" you'll probably be an honor student or at least on the Dean's list. I admire you for all your extra curricular, its a wonderful thing your doing, but, save some time and energy for yourself, you'll need it to get that added 3%, Do have a serious talk with your professor and maybe your counselor also. Your too close and the world needs people like you.

Good luck. One hospital and the Senior home need you, maybe you can give up one hospital and the YMCA, but if the YMCA gives you some happiness and pleasure keep doing it. Just be proud of yourself your doing very well.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
