Floating the ul left won't help that :p. On ul. Topnav, remove float:left and change the following properties: margin: 0 auto; padding: 0 85px; width: 630px; height: 36px.
We have a winner! As soon as I saw you mention the left float, I knew to try yours first :-) Thanks Christain! – Rick May 13 at 23:19.
I would adjust the width on your . Topnav and adjust the padding as well. Then on your ul.
Topnav li ul. Subnav add this left:-31px; this shall make your drop down center below the weddings option.
Create another div that will contain your ul class=topnav, set the width that fit in the page wrapper and add this as the property of ul: margin: 0 auto.

Does this get the effect you are after . Top-text { /*display: inline; margin: 0px 0px 50px 0px;*/ margin:auto; text-align:center; } Or, if I read it a different way you might mean this: . Top-text { display: inline; position:relative; float:left; margin-top:5px; } .
Step-number img { float:left; height:100%; } div. Content{ background-color: #EEEEEE; border-style: dotted; margin: 55px 5px 5px 48px; } You might need to play with the margin in div. Content to get the top spacing you want.
No sorry, it looks like the div that holds the image is only as tall as the text is (not the full height of the image), and the 'step 1' div is aligning with that. Would it help if I upload the 1. Png file so you can view it locally?
I want the text to align with the center of the image – jriggs Feb 19 '10 at 18:49 It would be cool if you could upload a mock up of what you are after – MrChrister Feb 19 '10 at 19:01 Getting there - I want the text to the right of the image and vertically centered on it. Removing the inline and adding the image class got me pretty close. – jriggs Feb 19 '10 at 19:01.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
