Trying to find a book I read a few years ago. Don't know Author or Title or Names of Main Characters It is about a girl(14-16) and a man 40ish(possibly disfigured) that lives across a lake from one another. He plays the piano and she sneaks into his house.

Don't know Author or Title or Names I read a book about a boy and his friend who go to the boys grandfather's or uncle's house somewhere. They travel by train (where a mysterious man stares at them the entire time). At the grandfather's house they begin to play a board game that becomes real.

They go into the woods where the adventure begins. They split up for a while I'm pretty sure. I read this book about 6 years ago and loved it but can't remember the title or author.

I though it was something like Players Game, Dark Game, or Dangerous Game, but I think those are wrong. It is fanciful with mythical creatures and I remember a troll near the end I am pretty sure. Can anyone please help me?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
