TS - Who is the Greatest Female Tennis Player of all time? - Quarter Finals?

I liked that last year :D Anyways my votes are the same for another answerer: Steffi Graf Martina Navratilova Margaret Court Chris Evert Serena Williams Venus Williams Justine Henin Billie jean king Monica Seles Kim Clijsters Suzanne Lenglen Maureen Connolly Martina Hingis Lindsay davenport Arantxa sanchez Vicario Helen Wills Moody EDIT - I want to add Althea Gibson and get rid of Clijsters.

In no particular order: 1. Steffi Graf 2. Martina Navratilova 3. Chris Evert 4.

Serena Williams 5. Billie Jean King 6. Monica Seles 7.

Venus Williams 8. Justine Henin 9. Martina Hingis 10. Lindsey Davenport 11. Maria Sharapova 12.

Kim Clijsters 13. Jenifer Capriati 14. Margaret Court 15. Evonne Goolagong 16.

Helen Wills Moody.

That is pretty much how I would have ranked it. Although for the life of me, and maybe because I am older and actually remember watching all these ladies play, I don't see how Chris Evert could have handled Serena Williams at all. Williams would dictate every single point in that match.

Serena doesn't give Evert a target like Navratilova used to.

Yep the top 3 are perfect. Would've liked Seles to be 4th and don't know which 4 people gave Serena the win against Evert on clay, but yeah it turned out well. Graf won my game too.

She's unbeatable. Take these Words - you have to give a bit of leeway for different eras.

Laver - Sampras - Federer - Emerson - Tilden - Connors - McEnroe - Newcombe - Budge - Lacoste - Gonzalez - Agassi - Borg - Wilander - Cramm - Ashe.

Stase 14-Arthur Ashe 15-Brian Gottfried 16. Andre agassi.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
