U.K. YouTube sitcom "Living with the Infidels" takes humorous look at 7/7 terrorist attacks. Critics say it is in bad taste. Do you agree?

This isn't funny. It is in poor taste. It also makes light of the victims of terrorist attacks.

Makes light of their pain and suffering. This is just plain wrong. The creator says he meant the series to deter young Muslims from becoming terrorists.

How? This doesn't do that. I just don't see it.

People should not make light is things like these. It says to potential terrorists that it is OK to kill innocent people. It is just a way of life.

A just cause. The question says that it might allow people on both sides of this issue to humanize their perceived "enemy? " It doesn't matter what the reason is, terrorism is wrong.

The people who commit terrorist act don't deserve to be humanized. I think this series will actually make victims of terrorism feel more angry and hurt. It will encourage people to hate Muslims and anyone that is perceived to be a potential terrorist. It will encourage hate.

This is just my humble opinion.

I agree with the critics this sitcom is certainly of bad taste. Like oil and water I cannot see how you can take a humorous look at the 7/7 terrorist attack to deter young muslims from becoming terrorists. I think the creator of this sitcom should approach the objective more seriously and a tv sitcom would not be the ideal medium to do so.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
