Um músico que não lê partituras é um analfabeto musical?

Para aprender violão, existem vários vídeos no Youtube que ensinam como tocar e ler cifras. O software do link para aprender a ler partitura pareceu ser bem básico, só mostra como ler o nome das notas mas não passa nenhuma informação de leitura rítmica. Para se ler partitura é necessário saber ler no tempo e no espaço, ou seja, ler o ritmo (duração) e a altura das notas. Sou professor de música licenciado pela Universidade de Brasília.
